I love my Phone, it is a small little computer that makes my life easier every day and moment. take some fun video on the iphone. take that video and put it on your computer. easy enough, but wait. OMG it’s sideways. can I rotate it to fit to facebook video. YES, buy our converter and it will work. Thank you, but no thanks. the world I live in sucks when it comes to making a profit. there are sooooo many different video/audio codecs to have for playback…. they differ for profit. no one sticks to one simple format that works for everyone. …well they did back in the day, it was an record, an 8 track, a cassette tape, a cd, and a dvd.

I spent some of my time (wasted time) tonight trying to rotate an iphone video.
I give up. Codecs Suck! and if you have the awesome fix to the this…..still ask yourself, why so many codecs?

Some artist say the sculpture is already in the marble or that the painting is already on the canvas. And that the artist simply brings it out. As if destiny brought that artist and the object of their creation together. To me, this explanation adds a lot of soul and importance to the art people create. Much like how most of us like to view our own lives. That it was destiny our parents got together in order for us to be born. You know, like that scene in back to the future when Micheal J Fox’s hand starts to disappear because his parents weren’t hooking up.

So if that’s true, then maybe that lyric or riff was there, suspended in time, waiting for me to pick up my guitar and bring it out or that it is was fate, waiting for the band to get together so that a song could be born.

The film is compiled of footage from 2010 and features band interviews, a rehearsal and SNAFU’s live performance at the first F! The Man Fest.

“Situation Normal” has also been entered into over a dozen other film festivals set to take place throughout the year. More updates to come.

This isn’t gonna be one of those “I hate this political group or politician” kinda blog. I’m not on that kinda trip these days. In fact, I’m pretty sure politics is a bunch of bullshit- like pro wrestling or Hip Hop feuds. No, this is going to be more like big picture social observations. The truth according to my perception of it. For, what is truth but our own perception?
